With our in-house mechanic and workshop facility, we can provide a full written quotation on the cost prior to starting any works, so that you are sure of what you are paying for. Using genuine and after market parts, we can cater for all budgets and provide mechanical, electrical and structural works for all trailers.

To hire any of our products, we just need a little information from you on the day.
We will need you to bring along a valid photographic driving license with your current address on and also a utility bill, bank staement or council tax bill with your current address on it dated within the last 3 months of that date that you wish to start

We will need you to bring along a valid photographic driving license with your current address on and also a utility bill, bank staement or council tax bill with your current address on it dated within the last 3 months of that date that you wish to start your hire from. We cannot accept any documentation over 3 months old. We will need to take a copy for our files which will then be destroyed upon completion of the hire and the hired goods are returned to us.
We do take a minimum security £250.00 deposit from you which is returned in full upon completion of the hire and the hired goods being returned to us in an undamaged condition as of time of hire.

Established through a need for hiring trailers, roof boxes or bike carriers for our own family holidays or business needs, Witney Trailer Hire was started operating from its base in Downs Road, Witney.

Witney Trailer Hire was formed as a result of not wanting to have a trailer, roof box or bike carrier taking up space in our already cluttered lives for 50 weeks of the year and only being used for holiday trips abroad. Space in the car was always the problem and hiring a trailer, a roof box or bike rack made things a great deal more enjoyable for the whole family on long journeys and trips. For business, we were always in need of a trailer for moving equipment, vehicles or generally bulky items. We realised that our customers would need flexibility and speedy quick hires with as minimal fuss as possible.
Witney Trailer Hire is proud to offer our customers a great variety of trailer, roof box and bike carrier hire options to meet all your needs. Based in Witney, we are ideally located locally for Oxfordshire and beyond. We are continuously adding to our stock levels aiming to meet all of our customers needs. With all our trailers, roof boxes and bike carriers competitively priced, we are sure we can find the right hire option for you. Best of all, we can deliver & collect too if that makes life easier for you.
If you are going away on holiday and planning to take a trailer, roof box or bike trailer with you, we suggest that you book as early as possible. A small booking fee secures your product for the dates you need and makes sure that you have everything you need for the adventure ahead. Its a little less stressful for you from then on we think! Our trailers tend to be booked for the summer holiday period by the end of April every year, so don't hang about, find the one that's right for you now and give us a call to get it booked.
It is our aim to make your trailer, roof box or bike carrier hire experience as simple and stress free as possible.
Unfortunately though, we don't provide roof bars for your vehicle as there are so many different specifications needed.
We operate as a business under appointments only. We have plenty of time slots available to book online, so just head to 'Bookings' Page to make a reservation. We are really nice people and really flexible and can usually do 'on the appointments'.
Why hire a roof box or trailer we hear you ask?
Its simple really if you think about it!
Why hire a roof box when,they aren't that expensive to buy really, but remember this! You might only use a roof box for 3 weeks of the year max, the rest of the time it gets in the way at home, blows over, gets damaged or in the way! Let us take the hassle out of that, that is why we try and keep prices low.
When it comes to roof bars, there are so many different types for different makes and models of cars. We can supply roof bars at extra cost but only to suit vehicles with existing roof bars with a gap in them. Its easier if we chat to you about this when you look to book, but don't leave it too late to get in touch! We are here to help remember and we can deliver if you need us too!
The same goes for a camping trailer for example. These things will get in our way for the remaining 50 odd weeks of the year, slowly getting forgotten, left out in all weathers costing money. Space is limited in our busy lives nowadays, so hiring a trailer, roof box or bike carrier is easier and doesn't get in the way for the rest of the year!
